ITA | La seconda edizione del workshop “Digging is COOL” offre un’opportunità unica per giovani DJ e appassionati di musica di approfondire la loro ricerca musicale nel mondo del vinile. In un’epoca dominata dalla musica digitale, questo workshop invita a riscoprire il fascino del formato fisico, stimolando l’interesse verso artisti emergenti e nuove influenze musicali.
I partecipanti esploreranno l’importanza culturale e storica del vinile, analizzando come questa ricerca possa arricchire la loro identità musicale. Impareranno tecniche di “digging”, come navigare in un negozio di dischi, identificare generi e valutare la qualità dei vinili. Il workshop sottolinea anche il valore del “digging” come strumento di socializzazione, permettendo interazioni significative tra appassionati, artisti e negozianti.
Aperto a giovani DJ, produttori e a chiunque desideri un approccio pratico alla musica, il workshop si svolgerà nel pomeriggio con sessioni di “digging” da PianoPiano Records” negozio di dischi a Merano, seguite da un aperitivo lungo con DJ set nello spazio adiacente.

DE | Die zweite Ausgabe des Workshops „Digging is COOL“ bietet eine richtig spannende Gelegenheit für junge DJs und Musikfans, tiefer in die Welt des Vinyl-Diggings einzutauchen. In einer Zeit, in der alles digital läuft, geht’s hier darum, den Vibe von physischen Platten neu zu entdecken und dabei freshen Sound, neue Artists und unerwartete Einflüsse zu finden.
Die Teilnehmenden checken die kulturelle und historische Bedeutung von Vinyl und lernen, wie Digging ihren eigenen Musikstil pushen kann. Es geht um praktische Skills: wie man sich im Plattenladen bewegt, Genres erkennt und die Qualität von Vinyl richtig einschätzt. Außerdem zeigt der Workshop, dass Digging nicht nur Musiksuche ist, sondern auch ein sozialer Space. Ein Ort, um sich mit anderen Artists und Shop-Ownern auszutauschen.
Offen für junge DJs, Producer und alle, die Bock auf einen hands-on Zugang zur Musik haben, findet der Workshop am Nachmittag statt.
